So here I am beginning this blog thing while I have a bottle propped up on my leg. This is the new story of my life, and I would't dare complain. So much has happened in my life within the past 12 months that I woudn't complain about either. I met a wonderful man who has treated me the way I should have been for years, and birthed (well the doctor actually cut and scooped him out of me..) a beautiful, yes I said beautiful, son. I branched from my family, and moved 120 miles away from everything I knew, and changed my major three times. None of any of that even begins a regret.
I've done all of this at and before my measly age of eighteen.
The story of that man of my life begins with a walmart picture book. My eyes wondered within the book, not like it wasn't thrown at me or anything ;), and I knew that was only the beginning. Six months and a pinky promise later, the ring began the finalization to single life- another thing I couldn't find a detail to complain about. The day the ring will be paired with it's other half will be November 5, 2011... If you were wondering (:
Now, the little boy part.. That surprised us on June 18th of 2010. What a journey it was. February 3, 2011 at 9:29am, our lives forever changed as we knew we were never first in our lives again. Three weeks earlier than planned, the beautifully-shaped-headed-sunglasses-named-child was brought into our lives. The past three months have been the best three months of our lives. Without a doubt. Waking up to that smiling sweet baby boy at 7am may not be the best part at first, but once I can blink a few times, I see the sweet smiles and hear the giggling, and know that he has my heart.
Aside from the sappyness, this is going to be my new hobby. Encourage it. And I lied, there is much more sappyness to come.
Loving your first post! Keep it up!!
